At present, ore mill holds an important position in the ore dressing equipment and its efficiency directly affects the whole production process. Then, what are the factors affecting the production efficiency of ore mill? As an experienced professional mining equipment manufacturer, our company will explain in detail:
1. When grinding mill materials with smaller particle size and low hardness, if the ratio of small balls is small, the product granularity may also be coarse. Thus small balls should be properly added to adapt to the nature of ore to get good product fineness. Therefore, the balls must be filled strictly according to proportion, and avoid ratio imbalance; when dealing with materials with large particle size or hardness, the low ratio of big ball may lead to coarse product, and the handling capacity will also be limited and the grinding efficiency will be influenced.
2. The feeding speed is the amount of ores that go through the ore mill in unit time. When the feeding speed is very slow, the ore amount in the ore mill is small, which not only leads to low productivity, but results in empty grinding and causes serious wear and over crushing. In order to make ore mill work effectively, high feeding speed should be maintained to keep more ores waiting for grinding inside the mill.
3. With the increasing of feeding speed, the content of qualified grain in the discharged ores reduces while the output number of qualified grain increases, so the ore grinding efficiency increases significantly. If the feeding speed exceeds a certain quota of ore mill under the specific operating system, the ore mill will be overloaded and discharge steel balls, spit out large ores, pour pulp and even be blocked. Therefore, the feeding of ore mill must be continuous and even, otherwise it may have bad influence on the ore beneficiation.
