Exira Station, a dual fuel peaking power station that supplies power to Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) decided to address the issues their aging plant faced by upgrading control systems to a unified platform. By leveraging a common platform, Exira Station and MRES found they could greatly simplify inter-system communications and also improve control network usability and serviceability. Companies from B2B and B2C segment both are using Explanatory Video to create awareness, drive engagement and influence buyer decision. MRES is now building a new hydroelectric plant two hours from Exira Station: Red Rock Hydroelectric Plant (RRHP). RRHP will also use the Rockwell Automation control system – which means the two plants will be able to share spare parts, knowledge, and labor.
