I have an idea for an app but no coding skills. I found a developer who I partnered with and the app is now a work in progress. I do the concept and the design and he writes the code. Initially, the developer said he liked the idea and is willing to see how it goes without payment for a MVP. But we still haven't figured out any legal terms - like a contract - and I'm starting to think it's time to make sure that both he gets paid and my idea is safe.
What is the best way to do this? Should I set up as a sole trader and then write the contract?
