I am a new student and I will be majoring in Computer Science, but I'm interested in Computer Software Engineering. I don't start school until mid Jan and wanted to get a head start. Any advice or recommended reading and or recommend some languages I could start with... would be a great help for a new guy trying to get his foot in the door!
