Yesterday Google decided my PC email client was no longer good enough for them requiring me to set my google profile to allow "less secure applications" access to my email. A quick search found that Google has set an arbitrary security requirement favoring their own products and use this inflammatory claim to scare people into changing what software they use.
This post is just asking for opinions on the subject.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
