This week, I bought one of the recently discontinued and heavily discounted Playstation TV units for the sole purpose of streaming my PS4 in the living room to my bedroom. And so far I've had middling success with that objective, likely (I think) due to the Playstation TV being connected over WiFi rather than being wired.
Which brings me to my question. I don't know a lot about networking so I'll give as many details as I can think of. I live in an older home which does not have any Ethernet ports on the walls at all. My Internet (via TWC) comes through a coaxial port in my living room to my modem, to my wireless router. I have the PS4 connected directly to this router. My bedroom does have a coaxial port, which is functional but presently unused by the TV because I don't get cable. So what I'm wondering is, is there any adapter that exists (or any networking solution) that would allow me to turn that coaxial port into a wired Ethernet port to connect to the Playstation TV?
Please Help. Thanks !
I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: -https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/is-there-any-adapter-that-can-convert-coaxial-to-ethernet/ -Promotional Video Examples
