Decided to vinyl my Audi A5!

I drive a 2016 Audi A5, and I recently decided to vinyl wrap it myself. Not a full wrap (not that brave yet), just some accents—roof, side mirrors, partial hood, etc. I started with a gloss carbon fiber vinyl I bought off a random Amazon seller, and let me tell you… big mistake. First off, the texture looked decent at first but it bubbled up within a few days, started peeling at the corners after one car wash, and worst of all, it left a weird adhesive residue when I tried to remove it. Safe to say, my trust in random vendors has plummeted.

What I’m looking for now is quality vinyl that’s actually durable, has good color/texture options, and won’t turn into a hot mess after a week. I'm not a pro installer or anything, but I’m also not afraid to take my time and do it right—as long as the material works with me and not against me.

Also, if anyone has tips for applying wrap to tight corners or tricky areas like side mirrors (seriously, mine looked like they were wearing wrinkled trash bags), that would be amazing too. I’ve got a heat gun and some patience, just need the right material and a bit of know-how.
