Traveling Safely from Amsterdam to Berlin amidst COVID-19

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we travel. There are various restrictions for interstate travel in Europe. Most train operators are committed to ensuring travelers’ safety and wellbeing en route to their destinations. Not only that, passengers need to fulfill COVID-19 travel requirements as they connect with people and places they love.
 
Passengers must adhere to all travel rules and fill any necessary forms before traveling. Ensure to consistently carry all COVID-19 documents whenever you’re using the train stations. You may not be allowed to travel if you don’t have the correct form complete and required documents.
 
You must be ready to adjust to changes in regulation on short notice. To avoid being caught unaware, ensure to check for the latest information Amsterdam to Berlin train ticket about your departure and destination before traveling.

COVID-19 conditions for entering in Berlin from Amsterdam
 
Anyone traveling from Amsterdam to Berlin must provide a negative COVID-19 test result issued not later than three days before arrival. The test result must be written in either English, French, or German. Any passenger without a negative COVID-19 test will have to undergo a mandatory 10-day self-quarantine.

Quarantined passengers may be released after a negative COVID-19 test result on day 5 in quarantine. 
All vaccinated passengers are exempted from compulsory quarantine. 

Passengers who have been to the red list countries ten days before departure will not be allowed into Germany or the UK. France and Belgium are classified as amber countries. For passengers from the red list country, the Germany government has mandated quarantine.

Ensure to always check for the latest list of red, amber, and green countries.  
 
 
In addition, all passengers entering Germany, regardless of whether they’ve been vaccinated or not, must fill mandatory forms and subject themselves to testing and self-isolation requirements. 
 
If you’re traveling from Amsterdam to Berlin and you’ve not been fully vaccinated, ensure to carry a printed and completed version of the certificate to leave the Netherlands.

• 10-day mandatory self-quarantine
• Negative COVID-19 test issued at most three days before arrival
• Travelers can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 test. The earliest you can take the test while in quarantine is five full days after you leave a place, not on the travel corridor list.
• Before traveling, travelers must book and pay for a travel test package, which will include COVID-19 tests to be taken on day two and day 8 of your quarantine.
• Travelers vaccinated under the German government vaccine program are exempt from mandatory quarantine.
• Travelers with a certificate of vaccination are exempt from compulsory quarantine.
