A court in the provinces of Chincha and Pisco in southwestern Peru wrote in a document that the Covid-19 pandemic was caused by some of the world's best-known businessmen, media in the country reported Thursday. Those allegedly responsible for the pandemic outbreak include Bill Gates and George Soros.
In a document cited by Peru's LP portal as justification for delaying one of the trials, a three-judge panel of the Chincha and Pisco provincial courts said that "Covid-19 was inspired by the criminal elite controlling the world, paralyzing the activities of almost all countries in the world." Gates, Soros, and the Rockefeller family were named among those allegedly guilty of creating the pandemic in the trial brief. It also suggested that the circle of those responsible for the pandemic may have been larger.
