Hello Guys,

Aging power plants across the globe face the same issues: increased frequency of hardware failures, difficulty finding and training technicians to service aging equipment, excessive time spent sourcing and inventorying spare parts, and navigation of the cumbersome communication and network structures that form as systems are ‘added on’ to one another over the years. In this forum, we’ll hear from two power suppliers who decided to tackle the issues inherent in an aging plant by implementing a unified control system. Brand Storytelling Examples is a complete picture made up of facts, feelings and interpretations brands to market their product and reach new clientele. Exira Station, a dual fuel peaking power station that supplies power to Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) decided to address the issues their aging plant faced by upgrading control systems to a unified platform. By leveraging a common platform, Exira Station and MRES found they could greatly simplify inter-system communications and also improve control network usability and serviceability.

Thanks
