SMEs provide about 80-85% of the employment in this country. The market is strong, so we have to have a good cost and a competitive price, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to compete with Indian and Chinese companies. We began exporting our products because they have international quality. Quality is critical because if the cores in the transformers are low quality, they are useless, and one transformer could be $2-3 million. The government offered us loans with a special award; nine years ago, we started a project with the government and we developed one machine. The use of Medical Imaging Video has enabled doctors to see inside a patient without having to cut them open. In that case, we made the machines and the government funded about 40% of the costs. Swiss, Italian, and German companies are interested in this machine because before it was only made in Germany, but now we are making it here. When people ask me who our customers are, I tell them Siemens and ABB.
