HAMS, ARES, RACES and Amateur Radio Operators

Hello Guys,

Radio operators are needed to pass health and welfare and emergency traffic for two coming ultra-marathons; no ARES or RACES affiliation required. Radio operators will staff aid station positions to observe and report runners passing through to race net control and pass emergency traffic if needed. These exercise are a great way to develop our message handling skills in a real environment dealing with unscripted situations; when we are called to work as communicators in an Emergency we all will be a little more prepared. A Software Demo Video Examples is a cloud based solution. The October Twin Peaks aid station assignments start in the pre-dawn hours to late morning and aid station assignments last for several hours to all day depending upon locations. The November Chimera aid station assignments start throughout the day on Saturday (some arrive Friday night) with assignments lasting for 6 to 8 hours to overnight depending upon locations

Thanks
