We currently use FreeAgent as a finance/accounting system - the main reason for this is actually due to the fact it gives a live prediction of corporation tax, VAT tracking etc. However I must add its pricey compared to XERO etc.
We would like to start a better stock control system (currently an excel spreadsheet) which would ideally be integrated with the above. The perfect system would allow the tracking of serial numbers and ideally pictures of that specific item.There are plenty of 'solutions' around, but my advice, if you haven't done so already, is to look at websites like Panorama consulting, ERP Focus, Capterra - for good advice, check forums and do plenty of research, figure out what you want and actually need, plus what cost you're willing to incur. Also take your time and look at all options. I've read lots of reviews of people rushing into something that turned out to be a bad decision.
