I have a controller S7-1212C and a KTP600 and an Ethernet switch. Is it possible to communicate with a barcode printers by Profinet, when the printer has an Ethernet port. Or, you can only send data to the printer via a serial port. How to add the printer in the hardware configuration? And how do you send data via Ethernet? I want to send the length, number and a barcode, to the printer.
