My husband and I plan to travel to Medellin, Manizalis, Cali, Cartagena, and Bogota in Feb. We are interested in buying indiginous crafts, jewelry (less costly than emeralds), gifts that are typically Colombian for family, etc. It appears that Cartagena may be a good place to shop, but will we find larger selections and better prices in Bogota? Are there any specialties for which some of our travel destinations are known? Any recommendations on what to buy and/or the great shops and markets to buy them?
