Safely Overclocking My New Build
Permalink

Hello,

I've got the memory in the right slots according to the manual.

I've got the BIOS tweaking software installed and updating now.

I'm concerned that ANY OC attempt without an aftermarket fan might be dangerous. I'd like to get from 2133 up to around 2400 or so, if I can do so safely with the stock fan, but I'll hold off altogether until next month when I can afford a better cooler if I need to.

This is my first OC attempt since 2008, so I'm a bit rusty on what's safe and what's not.

Help?

Thank you for your time and reading this!
