The Latin American Development Forum series was established in 2003 by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC), and the World Bank to promote debate, provide analysis, and convey the excitement and complexity of the most topical issues in economic and social development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Over the decade since then, some 30 titles have been published in the series. They cover a range of topics of relevance to the academic community, policy makers, researchers, and other interested readers: from globalization and macroeconomic stability to labor markets, social protections, education, and many more.
