Creating your own car air freshener company

Hello SBF, I'm an aspiring entrepreneur interesting in starting my own line of car air fresheners similar to glade, little tree, reuzit etc. Of course im thinking on a much smaller scale to begin with. This may sound a little far fetched but im curious what the first step may be. My idea is similar to whats already available, but it has a twist. So does any one have a clue what the first step may be? I hope this question isn't too vague

First, decide what niche to focus on. For example, if you wanted to make an air freshener, you would want to find a car that is ageing and has an older smell. Then you would want to find a company that would produce the air fresheners for you, and the company would want to charge you a certain amount to produce them. Next, create a website with a landing page with specific information on the company and the products.
